Patient talking with Hygienist

So many dental issues can be easily prevented with routine cleanings and exams. Did you know that it only takes 6 months for plaque and tartar to build up as the result of bacteria living off the bits of food trapped in hard to reach places. This presence of bacteria causes the teeth to decay, which forms cavities. Routine cleanings allow for the effective removal of these bacteria, while routine exams help to catch issues like oral cancer early on.

Dental X-Rays

The first step in preventative oral hygiene is knowing where your dental health currently stands. Dental X-Rays give our team an in depth look into the health of your teeth, inside and out. Technology has come a long way, and the radiation used in dental x-rays is about the same level of exposure as a 2 hour airplane flight! As a precaution, however, we still conduct all safety protocol to keep both our staff and our patients safe in the process.

Cleanings

Cleanings are highly encouraged every 6 months. Have you ever wondered why? That’s exactly how much time it takes for bacteria to form a layer of plaque on your teeth, which cannot be reached with regular brushing or flossing. Only a dental professional has the tools and experience to reach those hard to reach places. Our staff also takes this time to look for other warning signs of cavities, gum disease, oral cancer, etc.

Emergency Care

Accidents happen! And we are here for you, especially when you need us most. We offer emergency care to cater to your unexpected needs, just call our after hours number 615-825-6250 by clicking the button below.

Sealants

Sealants are important for children because it coats the molars with a tooth-colored layer that protects the teeth from bacteria as the child’s teeth continue to develop, and as the child continues to develop their own exceptional at home hygiene routine!

Home Care Kits

After every visit you’ll be sent home with a home care kit, including a new toothbrush (which should actually be replaced every three months), travel toothpaste, and floss. Unsure which direction to brush in, or how to reach your back teeth? Never hesitate to openly ask our staff for home care tips!

Sedation

We understand that going to the dentist can be scary. We want to make sure this fear isn’t holding you back from important dental care decisions. Our sedation options will put you in a relaxed state, and many patients report having no memory of the procedure afterwards. Ask us if sedation might be right for you.
